Peter Suschitzky: Use of Colored Gels

From American Cinematographer, Flesh for Fantasy by Eric Rudolph (May 1999)

"I don't try to echo the emotional scale of the characters with color in the way that Vittorio Storaro [ASC, AIC] does, although I tremendously admire his work. I think that I consider the dramatic needs of each scene, which, of course, includes the emotional state of the characters at that point in the story."

- Peter Suschitzky, BSC

RPO Note: What?! Seems a bit contradictory.
